You May Want to Do This Procedure When You Are Done With the Computer for the Night
1. Left Click on the ‘Start’ Button
2. Right Click on ‘My Computer’
3. Left Click ‘Explore’
4. On the Left Side of the Window, Right Click on C:
5. Left Click ‘Properties’
6. Near the bottom of this Window, Left Click on ‘Disk Cleanup’
7. Left Click on Each Box that the Box Does not have a Check; Placing a Check in all Boxes
8. Left Click on ‘Ok’
9. When the Window Appears, Left Click ‘Ok’
10. After this Procedure is Complete, On the Top of the Window, Left Click on the ‘Tools’ Tab
11. Left Click on ‘Check Now’
12. Left Click on Both Boxes Placing a Check in the Boxes
13. Left Click on ‘Start’
14. Left Click on ‘Yes’
15. Left Click on ‘Start’
16. Left Click on ‘Shut Down’
17. Left Click on ‘Restart’
18. The Computer will run a 5-Phase Check of your Hard Drive (NOTE: This process may take up to and maybe more than 1 hour).
19. Log in as Normal
20. Repeat Steps 1 thru 5
21. On the Top of the Window, Left Click on the ‘Tools’ Tab
22. Left Click on ‘Defragment Now’
23. Left Click on ‘Defragment’ (NOTE: This process may take up to and maybe more than 1 hour & it is best not to do anything while defragment is running.)
24. Reboot Your Computer, Using Steps 13 thru 17.
25. Continue Regular Activities.
